Covid-19: in India, a couple gets married in the virtual universe of Harry Potter to circumvent the restrictions

A couple of young Indians are going to get married on Sunday in a virtual universe, in this case that of Harry Potter, in order to circumvent health regulations. It is also an opportunity for them to see again, in the form of an avatar, the father of the bride, who died last year.

Next Sunday, Dinesh and Janaganandhini, a couple of young Indians living in Tamil Nadu, a region in the south of their country, will get married. The first reason for their choice is linked to the Covid-19 epidemic . In a country where weddings are the occasion for gatherings of hundreds of people, the government has put in place restrictions with a limit of 100 people for each wedding.
