United States: a man drowns under the eyes of police who do not intervene

The three police officers present were suspended pending the results of several investigations launched by the authorities, said the city of Tempe, Arizona.

A man drowned under the eyes of the police on May 28 in Tempe, Arizona (western United States ). The drama was filmed and the video, as well as a transcript which testifies to the inaction of the agents in the face of calls for help from the victim, were made public by the authorities on Monday, June 6. The three police officers who witnessed the tragedy have been suspended pending the results of several investigations launched by the authorities, according to the city, which has announced its intention to make public the images of the body cameras of the other officers in the coming days. .

In the images, shared by the American press , we can see police officers intervening with a couple due to "uproar" . During the intervention, Sean Bickings, a 34-year-old homeless man, then goes to a lake and begins to swim, while the police tell him that swimming is prohibited. The images then interrupt, the city judging the rest of the video too "sensitive" , then providing a transcription of the remarks made.

"OK, I'm not going to jump after you"

"What are you going to do now?" , asks an agent. "I'm going to drown. I'm going to drown ," replies Sean Bickings, according to the transcript. “No, no,” replies the agent. A second policeman then asks the man in distress to swim to the pylon of the bridge and hang on to it. "I can't, I can't ," says Sean Bickings. "OK, I'm not going to jump after you" , then launches the second agent. According to the rest of the transcript, the officers continue to insist that the homeless man fend for himself, while rebuffing his partner's efforts to beg them for help.

"You hear me ?" are the last words attributed to Sean Bickings. Later, one of the officers notes that he "hasn't surfaced for about 30 seconds" . His body will be fished out at the end of the morning.

At least four dead in Tulsa hospital

At least four people died on Wednesday after a man opened fire at a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the southern United States. The shooter allegedly killed himself. “Officers are currently checking every room in the building for any threats,” police said earlier this evening. Although the identity of the killer has not been confirmed, it is thought to be a man between 35 and 40 years old, said Mr Brooks. The suspect was in possession of two firearms at the time of the shooting. “The shooter is dead. We believe he committed suicide,” the deputy chief added. It was while reading the news that she learned that an active shooter was at Saint Francis Hospital. “I went there to see a doctor two months ago. This hospital was one of the safest places in the world. I guess that's not the case anymore,” she blurts out. https://www.youonline.online/post/1122587_25-funny-moments-in-epl-season-2-watch-here-amazing-amp-hilarious-scenes-enjoy-it-funny-moments-in-epl-season-2-with-your-family-or-...
