United States: when Trump was afraid of being killed by pineapples and tomatoes

Donald Trump was afraid of "very dangerous" fruit throwing during his first campaign. The former US president testifies in several legal proceedings against him.

Donald Trump has made a statement to say the least surprising in the context of a civil complaint which targets some of his bodyguards. Several people of Mexican descent say they were hit with cards from the businessman's body during a protest outside Trump Tower.

The man who had American nuclear power in his hands for four years was afraid of violent throwing of fruit during his meetings during his first presidential campaign. 

The former president of the United States  testified under oath on October 18 before plaintiffs' attorneys by videoconference in New York, under the aegis of the Supreme Court of the State. According to a document made public by the New York justice on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, Donald Trump was questioned about a campaign rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in February 2016. He had chanted: " If you see someone ready to throw a tomato, smash their face in, okay." 

Incitement to violence or self-defense ? The Republican billionaire advocates the second option. He explains that he finds it legitimate to use physical violence "to prevent someone from throwing pineapples, tomatoes, bananas, stuff like that, yes, it's dangerous". Donald Trump even goes so far as to say and insist several times on the fact that "this is a very dangerous thing. You can be killed by these things".

At least four dead in Tulsa hospital

At least four people died on Wednesday after a man opened fire at a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the southern United States.
