Doja Cat: who is the singer who announced the end of her career twice in just five days?

Doja Cat, known for her songs on TikTok, has several times announced the end of her career, then reversed her decision. But who is this singer who has become world famous in just a few weeks?

Known for being one of the first singers to achieve international success on TikTok, Amala Dlamini has been talked about around the world thanks to her title Say So , whose clip has more than 100 million views on YouTube.

Doja Cat did not grow up in a family of singers and decided to bet on dancing when she was a child. She lived in New York State, then in California. When she arrived on the west coast, she settled with her mother in a Hindu ashram created by a jazz musician, where she discovered her passion for music. 

The singer also says that she and her brother were harassed in their youth, because they were the "only mixed-race children in the neighborhood".

Doja Cat has also stood out  for her failings on social networks.  She apologized several times after making racist homophobic remarks .
