United States: Joe Biden discreetly insulted during Christmas call

Participating in an American tradition where the American president receives calls from citizens, the current head of state has received a hidden insult.

"Let's go Brandon": a seemingly harmless phrase, but frequently used by opponents of US President Joe Biden , and even some elected members of the Republican Party, to more appropriately insult the head of state.

This Saturday, December 24, the President and his wife Jill followed the tradition of talking to a few people calling a special line to follow the Santa Claus tour, managed since 1955 by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

At the beginning of October, during a car race, It all started with the mistake of an NBC reporter interviewing racing driver Brandon Brown in early October after his victory on a Nascar circuit. Behind her, the crowd chanted "Fuck Joe Biden" ("Joe Biden, go do you f ....), which the interviewer interpreted as" Let's Go Brandon " , to celebrate the pilot. Since then, this line is a way to insult the president without rudeness.
